The vast majority of parents find themselves at a loss when trying to help their children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them. This 4-week program is designed to teach parents, and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing.

About The Format

This program is taught in four 2.5 hour long sessions offered once a week. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. HCWL Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are structured and action oriented.

A Note From The Presenter:

The cost includes the book and all materials. This program is not only designed to help parents, but teachers, school counselors and everyone else who has contact with children. The skills taught in this four-week program can be of enormous value no matter what loss a child has experienced, including death of a family member or friend, divorce of parents, moving, loss of a pet, or any of the many other types of loss

When I found the Grief Recovery Method, I was at a challenging point in life. My partner had died and I was alone in a new city struggling with such profound grief. What I didn't understand was that I'd been carrying a lot of unresolved grief and loss that had accumulated over my life.
