The vast majority of parents find themselves at a loss when trying to help their children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them. This 4-week program is designed to teach parents, and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing.

About The Format

This program is taught in four 2.5 hour long sessions offered once a week. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. HCWL Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are structured and action oriented.

Utilizing my education as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my 17 years in hospice, and my personal experience has proven to be most effective in providing my clients with empathy and compassion, a deeper understanding of dealing with loss, grief, mourning, bereavement, and much-needed emotional support – all of which can result in a great sense of hope and healing. Seeing lives change is the greatest and most satisfying aspect of what I do. My personal journey with grief started my freshman year in college when my boyfriend was killed in an automobile accident.
