After growing up in Saskatchewan, Colette moved to Edmonton to obtain a BPA in Criminal Justice where she currently resides with her husband Gary, their son Aiden and puppy Oola. She has lived with a chronic illness since she was 15 and with that came many challenges and loss in her life. Her hopes and dreams of becoming of a Police Officer ended when she realized that career choice wasn't the best option with her illness. These circumstances led her on a journey of self-discovery where she realized that doing what you love is the key to happiness. She is heart centred and passionate about helping others truly live a life they love. Through these journeys of life she had no idea that what she was experiencing was grief, as she was taught at a young age that grief is experienced when someone close to you dies. After losing her dog, Cruz of 17 1/2 years, she felt alone, sad and like nobody understood how she was feeling. Shortly after this loss she was introduced to the GRM and it has changed her life.
