Hello! Welcome and thank you for clicking on my bio. Talk about the intellectual experience of our grief is common. Talking about the emotions if we can articulate them is not easy. You are now given the opportunity to share the emotional experiences of your grief with me.
Experiencing the loss of many family members and friends did not make much of an impact on me and my life because my mom taught me to be seen and not heard. I had no emotions and moved pass all those losses until my husband died. We were soulmates and I was devastated. He was in Hospice and if the hospice nurse (a friend of mind) didn’t confiscate the morphine I would not be alive today. I have completed my past losses of my husband, then my mom whom I watched die . I became certified by The Grief Recovery Institute® as a Grief Recovery Specialist in 2006 and Advanced Certification in 2019. My passion is working one on one with those who are grieving and prefer a more private setting than a group. My educational background includes Certification Counseling Skills Fundamentals for Colorado State University, Death & Grief Studies Certification at Center for Loss and Life under supervision of Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt, TAPS Peer Mentor Training, Advanced Bereavement Facilitator Training Program thru American Academy of Bereavement and Training as a Volunteer Chaplain at Southwest School of Chaplaincy. I live in Phoenix, AZ and offered all my one-on-one sessions here in Phoenix, Arizona I have worked online from several time zone. In Arizona we do not have time changes.
I have found the most important issue is not being heard. I am an exceptional listener and am willing to listen to you. Do you wish to complete your past, learn about unresolved grief and be able to feel happy, joyous and free? Please call or email for a free consultation.
