Hello. I am Hilary Scott. I live and work in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I have been through a ton of loss -the deaths of my parents eight months apart, my sister three years after that and my eighteen year old son in 2013. I have also had lived experience with family members who had mental illness and addictions. I have been divorced and raised my boys as a single mum.I lived on a small remote out island in the Carribean and have also been through too many hurricanes to count. There are more losses...a lifetime of them actually.

In 2015 I was Certified in the Grief Recovery Method. In 2020 I became and Advanced Specialist I was so thankful to find this program and all that it offered. Taking me through the myths surrounding grief and helping me work through my losses. I believe in this program so strongly that I have offered one on one sessions since that time. I am now an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist and can offer one on one Grief Recovery Method and group Helping Children with Loss online. This allows me to support you, wherever you may be in the world.
