Is your heart broken from a loss you've experienced? Have life's changes filled you with pain and stress?
I felt that way after I felt the need to walk away from a job I dearly loved and had worked in for over 60 years. A few months after that I felt even more pain as I lost my husband, the love of my life.
When I learned about The Grief Recovery Method program, I kept thinking "This makes so much sense! – but does it work?"
Any doubts about the program disappeared as we went through the action steps of recovery. Using the steps helped me find relief from emotional pain and the opportunity to regain a sense of hope and purpose in life. I had hope and joy in my life once again.
I found that this was indeed something that could help so many others. I really felt training to help others learn this was one way I could help make the world a better place.
I’m trained to work one-on-one and in groups for grief support, pet loss, and with adults that help children grieve and I’m pleased that I’m now part of a small group of Specialists that have also received additional training to be certified to help people in an online format which means I can work with anyone wherever they may be. This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
