My name is Jose H. Tate. I'm a retired Air Force officer and chaplain, and I'm currently a full-time chaplain in Ohio. As one who've grieved many losses in my life and help others work through their grief to healing, GRM was just what I needed to add a valuable tool to my toolbox. My GRM training has taken me deeper into areas of my life I thought were complete and provided me more insight beyond my expectations. As a chaplain and associate pastor, I provide GRM services to people with addictions, PTSD, health problems, hospice and palliative care needs, relationship issues, and so forth. I have a Doctorate in Ministry. I'm a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC), and Prepare/Enrich Facilitator with over 26 years of professional ministry. I'm the author of several books such as "Living Without Them - My Journey With Loss" and "Religious Pluralism and Valuing Others." I provided vital pastoral and grief support as an active duty Air Force chaplain to the Pentagon during 9/11 while stationed at Bolling AFB, DC and in Balad, Iraq in 2006 during the height of the Iraq war at the Air Force Theater Hospital where injured, wounded, and dying casualties were brought in for medical help.
