My husband and I moved to the Texas panhandle back in 2000, where we raised our 5 children into adulthood. I have been a licensed massage therapist for the past 20 yrs, and have enjoyed offering this service to our community. My father died suddenly in 2013. Then shortly after his death my husband of 32 yrs died. My two “go to guys“ in life died within a year of each other. My world turned upside-down, and I was not equipped to deal with all the emotions that followed. A friend had recommended The Grief Recovery Method to me a few years prior to their deaths because we were struggling with a loved one, who was lost in a cycle of addiction. At the time, I didn’t see the value of the program. It took two immediate family deaths for me to become open minded to the method. After attending a Grief recovery weekend, I became convinced that this method serves as a lifeline for handling all losses.
I became certified in 2015, and now offer one on one support, group sessions and online support. The Grief Recovery Method equipped me with what we needed to live forward together, as a family. I’m forever grateful for the nudge, and I live to pay forward the blessing.
