Hello, my journey to becoming a certified Grief Recovery Specialist began in 2005 when a Social Worker gave me the Grief Recovery Handbook and asked me if I had ever dealt with my grief? Reading that book and taking the certified training changed my life! It helped me and now I want help others attain the knowledge using an evidenced approach using the Grief Recovery Method. At Manhattan Mental Health Services, I provide Grief Recovery Method 1-1 and group services in Manhattan, KS and surrounding communities. Call 785-537-6051 for more information. The one-on-one Individual Program is 7 sessions and the Grief Recovery Method Group Program is 8 sessions. I have my Master's in Social Work and also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the State of Kansas.
