About Annie

Hi! I'm so glad you are considering going through the Grief Recovery Method. Here is a little bit about me. I am originally from Cyprus and currently live in Berlin, Germany with my husband and two girls. When I was ten years old, my mum suddenly passed away. Back then I was not offered any grief support and spent years carrying immense pain from the loss of my mum, with no way to deal with it. I decided to look for support myself decades later, when I experienced unexplained health issues that the doctors attributed to chronic stress. I went to therapy, did somatic work and many other modalities, but it was the Grief Recovery Method that offered me the relief that I needed. On top of being a Grief Recovery Specialist, I am a certified health coach with a particular interest in how unresolved grief can manifest in the body. I work mainly online, offering one-on-one and group programmes. I am especially passionate about the Helping Children with Loss programme, as I want as many children as possible to have the tools I didn't have. I speak English, French and German on top of my native tongue Greek.
