The Grief Recovery Method has helped me so much in dealing with unresolved issues regarding the loss of my father and my mother's dementia. The process of dealing with complicated grief can be so confusing and tiring, often, we don't know what to do. By working through issues of unmet dreams, hopes, and expectations, we can say goodbye to the harsh feelings while remembering those we lost. I serve people in Houston (and beyond) as a hospice chaplain and Grief Recovery Specialist. My honor and privilege is working with many families, regardless of cultural boundaries. Chaplains do not proselytize or try to convert people; the Grief Recovery Program is not based on religion or any belief system, just caring for people experienced in helping others. I have a BSc degree and an M.Div. in Professional Chaplaincy. I look forward to every day in the joyous process of leading people to recover from their grief.
