About Barbara

Hello, my name is Barb Belluardo and I am a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. My journey started with GRM in October 2024, when I took this powerful recovery class. My father died in August of 2023 and I had a lot going on in my life I needed help with and I'm so thankful I found The Grief Recovery Method. This class helped me to live through my grief and how to handle it in different ways that I have in the past. I was so moved by this class and the impact it made in my life, I decided to take the specialist class to become a Grief Recovery Method Specialist in February 2024. I've been retired since 2018 and I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I am so happy to be starting a new journey of helping others find their peace. We all experience grief at some point in our life and I'm thankful for the training I have received and share it with others within my community.

As I said above, Barb was truly amazing in helping me understand what grief actually was and all the misconceptions that we all have about dealing with grief especially when a loved on dies. Barb had compassion for all of our different types of griefs and explained that no one person grieves the same way.

The facilitator was well organized, thoughtful and compassionate. She made the group feel comfortable which contributed to members feeling comfortable in sharing.. She made herself available to group members outside of group for questions regarding the assignments or concerns. She presented the material in an organized matter and provided examples of her own experiences. She was outstanding as a facilitator.
