Hello beautiful soul. I am so glad you are here because that means you are searching. I was too. When I found The Grief recovery Method, I had been through therapy, counseling and coaching. I had dabbled in energetic healing, reparenting, parts integration, body work, meditation, Human Design and the connection between mind, body and soul relating to trauma. The Grief Recovery Method was the "missing piece" in my journey. During my almost 20 year career as a Paramedic, I was surrounded with death, dying and loss daily. It was my job and my chosen duty to witness the worst moments in another's life and do my best to render aid. I had always loved helping people. I grew up on a volunteer fire department and knew I was here, on this planet, to help others. BUT... the coping skills I had were failing me. I had learned to compartmentalize and shove down all of the traumatic and horrific events so I could move on and help the next person. *Don't feel. *Suck it up. *Keep moving. *Someone else is waiting. *Keep your sh*t together. I was the Queen of "I'm fine" and "it's all part of the job". However, those tactics won't keep the lid on Pandora's Box forever. While I was trying my hardest to "keep it together", every relationship I had was suffering, my children were NOT ok and my life was falling apart - divorces, bankruptcies, estrangement from my children, repossession of homes, physical pain and illness - and I began to pray that I would just go to sleep and not wake up. I sought help and, little by little, things began to change but I still felt stuck. I was still carrying so much weight, guilt, shame and garbage around with me. It was not until I walked through The Grief Recovery Method that I really began to understand how much I was truly carrying and, more importantly, learned the tools to lay it down. Today, I have peace, joy, freedom and a true love of life. I am honored to walk others through The Grief Recovery Method, speak to audiences and coach from a place of healing.
