About Donna
Chaplain Donna Cosby-Rose graduated from Virginia Union University in 2014 with her Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care and in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Christian Education with a concentration in Curriculum Formation. She has completed her Clinical Pastoral Education training form Virginia Commonwealth University (1st unit) and the James A. Haley Veterans Health Administration respectively. She is a Certified Clinical Chaplain and a Board-Certified Chaplain through NAVAC and has Grief Recovery Method as her specialty through the Grief Recovery Institute in Athol Idaho. She is currently the Suicide Prevention Chaplain at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

My Experience
She forewarned us that some of the information we discovered, especially when we were doing the Loss History Graph, The Relationship Graph, and The Completion Letter may stir up feelings we had put aside or locked away for years. She was right, but she was there to help us through. She told us we were not there to judge nor fix an issue or a person, not even ourselves and that gave me the courage to keep going. I think there are a few more people I may need to work on a Relationship Graph and a Completion Letter. I felt much better and freer after my first one.
