Doug Hash

My name is Doug Hash, and I live in Bixby, Oklahoma. I have been married to the love of my life, Rhonda, since 1984, and we have 3 wonderful children and 6 grandchildren. I have been in the Ministry since 1989 and have been a Pastor for over 30 years. I also have been working in the funeral business since 1986. Having worked with grievers in both the ministry and in the funeral business, I wanted to better serve those around me, so I went through the Grief Recovery Program and was certified to be a specialist in 2011. I soon discovered that I had many losses in my own life that I needed to work on. There was unfinished business in my relationships with those I had lost. Using the tools of the Grief Recovery Method, I was able to complete those relationships. I have found the Grief Recovery Method an excellent way to help people deal with the losses in their lives. I currently lead the Grief Recovery Program at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Along with the families we serve, we also have several businesses, churches, and hospice organizations that refer people to our program. We have three 8-week sessions each year. I also have done some 1 on 1 sessions along the way. In 2021 I received my certification for Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist so that I can assist grievers with the on-line format. There is nothing more fulfilling than being there to help people who are hurting from losses in their lives and watch them begin to smile again, laugh again, and look forward to tomorrow!
