Hi I am Dr. Sandra Miller-Jones My journey began with Grief Recovery Method when I lost my adult son. it was unexpected and left me dazed and sad. I saw an opportunity to help others who were grieving losses, and was able to be trained to provide the Grief Recovery Method. Little did I know the impact that this education would have on me, and how it would allow me to get back into my life. In doing so, I was able to see the value for myself and how I could help others gain support in their lives around life losses. Grief Recovery method is an educational method and not a therapeutic practice. My PhD is in Counseling and Human Development Services from Kent State University. I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Ohio. And, I have provided both psycho-educational trainings and therapeutic services for over 25 years. I provide in-person one-on-one and in-person groups; as well as virtual one-on-one for individuals and virtual groups for people seeking the Grief Recovery Method. I would love to hear from you to offer a one-on-one session or group session to address any losses that you have experienced. My private practice, SunWalk Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC is located in University Hts., Ohio a small community within the Cleveland, Ohio area. I also offer counseling services to address individual, couple, and family concerns. My next Grief Recovery Method Group is scheduled for January 2023.
