Juliana Belden

Hello from Kodiak Alaska. My name is Juliana. My grief journey began when my first husband died when I was 30 years old. Our children were ages 4, 7, and 8. In the many years that followed I experienced divorce, the loss of my parents, and the deaths of 2 of my adult children at ages 23 and 32. Five years ago I worked through my first course of the Grief Recovery Method with a Specialist from our local Hospice. The course has helped me come to terms and heal deep pain from these losses. Now, I find it very rewarding to be a certified GRM specialist and to provide the Grief Recovery Method to our Kodiak community. Primarily I am working with Grief Groups each spring and fall; and last spring I offered the first Alumni Group. When it is a good fit, I also provide one-on-one sessions to individuals to work the program.
