Hello. My name is Kim Jones. I am so glad to be a part of the Grief Recovery Method Specialist Team. My journey began with "Worshiprayer Outreach Ministry", a non-profit that I have been blessed to birth and also the ministry in which I serve at my church. The population I minister and teach to is "Dementia/Alzheimer" and their caregivers, their family, and loved ones. This is when I reached out to the Grief Recovery Method program to better myself with the skills and knowledge to help others with grief. Grief Recovery Method has impacted my life beyond what I thought it was going to be. It took me out of my comfort zone to a place where I could share my feelings, emotions and thoughts without even realizing that its ok for me to share how I'm feeling. I serve the central area of the state of Virginia. I will provide 1 one 1 grief support as well as, grief group support. I am a Register Nurse with 29 years of Behavioral health experience but not limited to substance abuse, PTSD and memory care facilities. I have a certificate of license for the Ministry of the Gospel. I'm looking forward in sharing what I have learned and to help those who need to be heard.
