It made me reflect on all of the losses I have had in my lifetime. Having to list the good and the bad of the loved one, was time consuming, but it made me dig deep to lay it all out on the table. Kira stepped outside of the box and we talked about things that I may not have thought about without her guidance.
I have learned so much about myself and I learned how to forgive not only others but myself. I have learned that I will never be the same and so I need to learn how to love myself and find new things I am interested in. I have learned that I need to self care and not be a people pleaser because it just destroys my mental health.
I have been provided with another outlook on grief that I never knew really existed. In addition, I have a lot more tools to better cope with future losses.
I feel like I am ready to move forward with life in so many new ways that I did not anticipate when I started. I'm always sharing with others how helpful the program has been and recommend it to people for so many losses they are going through that may not necessarily be a death.
The program has worked for me because it helped me dig deep into things that have affected me, and how to let go of the events that still hurt me. I was able to forgive, apologize, and recognize events and how it made me feel. I was also able to take the tools that I have learned and hope to help others during their time.
Amazingly they are super friendly and very inviting. Kira helped me tremendously and I cant thank her enough
