Lisa Hablitzel, MSW, LSW

My name is Lisa Hablitzel. I am a Licensed Social Worker and I have a master’s degree from The Ohio State University. I started my career in crisis intervention, then transitioned to a mental health/substance abuse therapist, and now work for a Senior Center. Throughout my career I have had the honor to walk alongside others in their grief and loss but felt limited in providing the tools needed to help them put closure to their pain. I was pleased when I heard that there was an evidenced based program and steps you could take through the Grief Recovery Method to help put closure to the pain. I began my own work with the Grief Recovery Method in 2018 and saw how well it worked and wanted to share that with others. I too, have had grief with the losses I have experienced in my life with the death of my grandparents, change of career and infertility. This program has helped me take the steps needed to complete the relationship I had with the pain in those losses.
