About Maggie

Thank you for getting to know more about me. I currently live in the Nashville/Brentwood TN area. I have three sons. My youngest son's physical death came as an accidental overdose to “opioid” prescription drug on May 26 2015, at the age of 27. This tragic event “knocked the wind out of my sails”. I was lost and floundering. I didn’t know how to deal with the pain of my son’s death. My head was spinning with the “could haves” and “should haves”. There was so much anger, shame, fear and guilt in my heart. When I participated in the GRM course, I realized I had “unresolved grief” from the loss of my father that occurred 3 years earlier. It was in the healing and completion of my father’s loss that I was able to know and understand how to complete the loss of my son’s death. I became a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist to help those like me and others who experienced loss of a child. I have a Master of Science degree and I am a RYT-200 Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor specializing in the healing benefits of yoga and meditation from loss. I am currently offering The Grief Recovery Method seven week session in a 1-on-1 online format on a regular basis. This online program offers privacy, as well as, flexible scheduling. It would be my honor to help you take steps forward to heal your heart. The cost of this program is reasonable priced and based on a sliding scale affordability format. Please email me your questions about the program costs or contact me to schedule a free 30 minute consultation. Visit my website www.justbeholistichealing.com for more details.

My Experience

The program made me think about my relationship with my son and how I could quit feeling I had a painful hole in my heart. It help me realize I don't have to stop loving my child and remembering the good times and not hurting all the time. I had a lot of mixed emotions regarding my son's death, he was shot and died two days later. The class helped me not to harbor on the negative by making me face the reality and my feelings working through the my emotions and all the hurt. I do not express my feelings well on paper but I will recommend this class for anyone who is grieving a loss. I learned there are more kinds of grief than just losing a love one that can be just as difficult and hard to recovery from.
