The facilitators were excellent, and I truly appreciate their support. This program has helped me view grief from a different perspective, reminding me that everyone faces their own struggles and that I am not alone. I am grateful for programs like this, as they show that help is available. I plan to share this resource with others who may be experiencing grief.

WE WERE ASKED TO RESPECT EACH OTHER'S PRIVACY WITH CONFIDENTIALITY, AND I TRULY BELIEVE AND FELT THAT IT WAS FOLLOWED.

My personal relationship with the facilitators through our church caused me a bit of apprehension in the beginning. It was resolved after the first session.

The Facilitators were amazing! I am so thankful for how gentle and guiding they were through the process. They always greeted everyone with warmth and made you feel valued in the group. Their different approaches to facilitation worked really well because they bounced off each other. I also appreciated how they always reassured us that they were available to walk through any bumps in the road. They were also kind by bringing snacks every week and went the extra mile at our last session which felt extra special. I am excited for their future groups that get to experience GRM through them.

The star rating is Outstanding. My wife passed in March, 2022 and I have been struggling to deal with her passing. Because of the class I will be better able to deal with my loss. The class provided me with the tools I need to handle my grief.

Before going to the recovery program I was really lost. I was dealing with my grief completely wrong and listening to the wrong crowd. After meeting Dr. Mobley and opening up to her, she really helped me deal with it and not judge me. She was a heart with ears the entire time and gave me the necessary feedback I needed and continue on and be a better mother for my kids.

Overall, Very well although I don’t think the GRM book is culturally sensitive and should have a spiritual component. Also, I don’t think divorce and death belong in the same book.

I learned a lot about myself. One of the most impactful experiences was coming to understand my myths. That experience provided me with insight into how deeply closed off from my own emotions I have been. I found the grief and relationship timelines also very impactful. They showed me how much loss and grief I have carried with me and helped me notice that the issue that brought me to the GRM program was more nuanced than I realized. That loss included many positive moments, not just negative ones, and choices I needed to take responsibility for, and that I could not place the blame for my situation entirely on others. I found the recovery steps also impactful. I saw fully what I had been holding on to that had prevented me from moving through that grief, and I was grateful to be able to express it all via the completion letter.

Understanding that ending the pain of the loss is the goal........not just sweeping the loss under the rug. Exploring both good and bad aspects of the relationship prevented me from bedevilment or enshrinement, this was critical for me.
