Mary Chieu-Kwuan Loh is a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist and a Transformation Coach based in Singapore. Trained as an educator, she has worked extensively in the arts and is passionate about helping people discover their unique potential to create the life they want and live it to the fullest. She is the Founder of Valley To Light, focusing on helping people no matter what their grief is Mary came to the Grief Recovery Method to deal with grief over her mother who had been suffering from dementia as well as to deal with her own difficult transitions in life. She discovered that the reason why she struggled with grief was because she was never taught to grieve and complete the process of loss. Mary has seen positive effects of the Method - grievers beginning to walk with a lighter load as well as those walking free from years of pain. Living in a post-pandemic VUCA world, knowing how to complete grief and loss is a critical step to developing resilience. Unresolved grief is often the heart of mental health issues especially among the youth. Mary hopes to play her part in empowering more people to recover fully from the pain and isolation of Grief and Loss. Mary offers in person and online support through the Grief Recovery Method 1-on-1 and Group formats as well as Helping Children with Loss in Singapore and via online to the South East Asian region.
