About Michelle

My name is Michelle Sutton, and  I am a happily married mother of two sons and an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I wanted to be trained as a Specialist because I have always had a heart to help other people and, to my surprise, I was impacted personally by the Method in ways I never imagined. Since learning and practicing the Method in my own life, I have found a freedom and depth in my relationships that I have never had before. My heart and desire is to share this with as many people as possible! I am a good listener. I will allow you the space and time you need to process your losses with no judgement or critique. I have been told many times that I am a safe person to talk to, a heart with ears that will help you feel safe and confident to share your story. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested or need more information.

My Experience

I have carried the grief from my childhood, concerning the physical abuse my father gave me from about 9 years to my last beating with a belt at 17 years old. This damaged me in so many ways. Trust, not feeling loved, Not being good enough throughout my life. So much damage inflicted. The Grief Recovery Method helped me put the abuse in perspective. Taking some responsibility for the things that happened in my life. To say Goodbye to all the misery and Goodbye to my father for the last time. In order to move on from the past. ( my father passed away a few years ago) was unable to say goodbye cause we were in different states. Now, I have said goodbye for good!! I really appreciate the methods I learned and will use them on the many people I need to say the things I didn’t say and then goodbye!! THANK YOU GRIEF RECOVERY INSTITUTE! JT
