About Rebekah

My Journey of Grief, Healing, and HopeGreetings,I am Rebekah Lea Phelps. My life’s mission has been to support those facing death, grief, and heartbreak, with the hope of bringing renewal and restoration.Over ten years in hospice and thirteen years as a senior advocate, I have guided more than 100 families through the challenges of caring for loved ones with Dementia and Alzheimer’s, helping them navigate loss in its many forms. After learning in 2016 of my genetic risk for breast and pancreatic cancer, I underwent *mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. Since 2010, I have helped others with grief, and in 2024, was recertified in Grief Recovery—a transformative choice that convinced me many suffer from unresolved grief rather than depression. *Intangible loss.Grief has shaped my life, from childhood to the loss of my *children—my son was taken at age four, and my daughter’s struggle with mental illness began at 28 years young. These losses extend beyond death itself.*Tangible loss.Despite extensive emotional and spiritual trauma, I am joyful proof that Grief Recovery works—life is possible beyond sorrow, numbness or no longer being able to cry.Now living in Clayton, NC with my two grand cats, I encourage others: be restored, process, and heal.I look forward to meeting you and would be honored to walk you through processing your grief,RebekahIsaiah 61:1
