About Rena
Hi there! I’m Rena, a grief recovery specialist who found grief recovery when my third son died, this time through suicide. My other two sons had died previously, one from a rare syndrome at 12 weeks and one from Brain cancer at age 14. I initially turned down the offer of grief recovery at first saying I had no need, been there done that I’m totally fine. Until I realized I wasn’t. Not on the inside anyway. So I gratefully did the course and it was grief and life transforming for me. I became certified so I could help others through the process of grieving to create room for feeling joy once again. My office is in Nolensville, TN and I provide individual and group programs. I am also an RN,a board certified functional medicine health coach, and a reflexologist.

My Experience
Maybe the format was easy by design at first. This is how I experienced it. First 3-5 weeks were not deeply emotionally taxing and that encouraged me to think I could really do this and dive deep. So I did. Seems the back half of the program is directly proportionate to how much was invested in and set up by the first half. I didn’t see it coming, the effect really walloped me in a good way.
