Hi I’m Sherri. I’m a compassionate and dedicated Grief Recovery Method Specialist committed to supporting individuals who are navigating the complex and painful journey of grief and loss. With my empathetic nature and deep understanding of The Grief Recovery Method, I provide a safe and nurturing space for my clients to heal, grow and rediscover hope amidst their losses. While helping others has been a lifelong passion of mine, a personal situation in my life created the opportunity for me to turn the pain of my own personal experience into my passion and I pursued a career as a betrayal trauma coach. As I began working with women who had been betrayed, I realized that although they had a wealth of resources for dealing with their trauma, the lingering grief from the many losses they had suffered continued to weigh heavily on them. As I researched ways to help my clients (and myself) with their grief and loss, I came across The Grief Recovery Method. While I was happy to find an evidenced-based program that offered actionable steps to help my clients heal, I was even more excited to expand my reach and help people from all walks of life complete the pain associated with the more than 40 losses we can experience throughout our lives. I work with clients facing a wide range of losses, including the death of a loved one, divorce or separation, job loss, health-related issues and other significant life transitions. I offer one-on-one individual grief support and grief support groups, both in person and online. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment for my clients to express their emotions, fears and concerns. My personal experiences, along with my warm and nurturing approach, creates a safe environment that allows individuals to honor their grief, find hope amidst their pain and rebuild their lives with purpose and resilience. In addition to The Grief Recovery Method, I also offer the Helping Children With Loss program and the Pet Loss Support Group.
