Hi, I'm Teresa. I am a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I provide GRM services in Irvine, CA & Tustin, CA areas, as well as online. I offer 1:1 GRM sessions as well as group GRM sessions, both in-person and online. I am also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator. I hold a B.A. in Psychology, a M.A. in Organizational Psychology, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. I came to the Grief Recovery Method from a spiritual awakening in 2018 that transformed my life. My wake-up call came from soul-crushing events at work that challenged my self-worth. My people-pleasing and perfectionism behaviors had finally caught up to me and couldn’t be ignored. These behaviors had helped me survive a traumatic childhood of poverty, alcoholism, neglect, and emotional abuse, but were no longer serving me as an adult. My spiritual awakening was the catalyst for a transformational three-year journey of introspection, self-care, therapy, and career coaching. My therapist introduced me to the Grief Recovery Method to work on completing the emotions associated with the relationship that caused most of my issues: my father. Though I privately had reservations that GRM would work, the experience was profoundly life-changing. After reading my completion letter aloud, I experienced a shedding of emotions stored in my body over the course of a week. And then...I simply felt different. I was then able to hear and receive positive feedback from others at work in a way that showed that I was never truly able to internalize positive feedback before. I was able to conquer my fears of public speaking, being a leader. I attribute most of my positive self-development to GRM. After all this, I found my authentic self behind the debilitating fears I had around shame, failure, and rejection. I overcame numerous self-limiting beliefs and am now living out my true mission as a career and mindset coach and Grief Recovery Specialist. I thrive from connecting deeply with others and supporting their journey to find their authentic selves at work, which includes completing the emotional impact left by grief and loss. I am married with 2 sons and 2 dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, learning, practicing self-care, and connecting with loved ones.
