I discovered The Grief Recovery Institute 20 years ago when I was suffering from inconsolable grief after my older daughter's fiance crashed his single engine plane.  I realized quickly that I didn't know how to cope with such a devastating loss and no one else around me knew what to do either.  Fortunately my husband bought me a copy of The Grief Recovery Handbook.  Right away, I started to have tools to help heal my heart.  I jumped at the chance to go through the Grief Recovery Program and to become a Grief Recovery Specialist when the training came to Denver.Through the years, I have led Grief Support Groups, Grief Support 1on 1, and Pet Loss Support Groups.  It is such a joy and privilege to experience the lifting of grief off the wounded hearts of those participating in the programs.I'm a snowbird:  Summers in Erie, CO, and Winters in Surprise, AZ.  Although I don't have a support group scheduled right now, if you click on the link on the left to send me an email, I will keep you on a list and notify you when the next one is scheduled.
