My name is Dee Dee Doling-Dade and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation and a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. Throughout my career, I have taught ways to manage symptoms related to significant emotional pain that's resulted from various life circumstances. I've worked with teens, adults, couples and families. While the skills and methods we teach are truly helpful in managing the symptoms and decreasing our emotional response to people, places and things - I found the Grief Recovery Method to be truly refreshing in it's practical approach. After researching GRM for my own I was able to experience the full program and receive the Intensive Training to add to the service line at my practice. Personally, I have found the steps in the method to be truly life changing. They have helped me move from hurt to healing, from anger to acceptance, from resentment to recovery. Professionally, I have watched my participants visibly change in their countenance and experience a freedom from past hurts that is truly transformational. My ultimate desire is to educate the community that unaddressed grief is a primary cause of increase in suicidal ideation and completions, addictions, and even marital distress. The Grief Recovery Method (GRM) is an action-oriented program that helps you develop a strategy of healing through specific steps to address emotional pain. The end result, decrease in the use of unhealthy coping behaviors and improvement in life satisfaction and in health outcomes. We are providing GRM services in Canal Winchester location currently, with more locations to come.
