My Experience

Denise Tarquinio was my facilitator for the 8 week sessions of Grief to Recovery. The program was hard work. But hard work has never kept me back from taking action in my life to get things done. Denise was very clear and concise on the readings and writings that I had to complete. She also had an amazing way about her with compassion, softness, empathy, and mostly a heart with listening ears. The Grief to Recovery program has changed my life. I started the 8 sessions with Denise Tarquinio in February and finished the end of March 2024. I came into the sessions with an open heart and mind that this was going to help me through the grief process of losing my husband. Denise was totally committed to this program and guided me spiritually through this grief to recovery method. I am encouraging everyone I know who is grieving to try this program and have Denise as their facilitator. She will not let them down. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity. My Experience

This course has been amazing in helping me deal with my grief. After completing each homework assignment, I couldn't wait to have my next class. I could see there was going to be positive recovery for me once I was through it. In fact after one of my homework assignments I felt a ton of stress leave my body. It was truly like a weight was picked up and removed from my shoulder. I believe God led Denise to me for this recovery.

Denise Tarquinio was a heart with ears. She is exactly the type of person that should be doing the Grief Recovery Method.

My Experience

I knew very little about the Grief Recovery Method when I started the program. I was doing the program to help my children, not realizing that I needed it for myself. I learned, however, that I can best help others by completing my own losses. Denise's empathy made me feel free to open up about my grief. In the process I, not only learned more about myself, but also learned how to heal from past hurts that I hadn't even realized I was holding onto. I am grateful for this program and believe anyone can benefit from it, even those who do not realize that they are struggling with unresolved grief.

Denise is an outstanding facilitator of this program. Her confidence in the program, process based on her own experience of it, her education and experience in Hospice and her huge heart and big brain make her exceptional. Hands down she made this doable for me and there is no way I would have done it had she not gently taken my by the hand, shared her journey with me and paved the way and helped me to be vulnerable, raw and real.. she knows stuff no one else knows minus God! I didn't even tell him half the stuff hahah Seriously, she is an asset to this program and what she brings to it is nothing short of excellent.
