Jan Ware, Reiki III

My name is Jan Ware, owner of Heart Stone Energy. I am a Grief Recovery Method Specialist and Reiki III Practitioner. After experiencing many losses within my family within just a few years, I found myself feeling lost and untethered. While I was able to navigate my everyday life, there was a level of grief which kept me from moving forward. I was searching for something that would help me with the pain I was in. I was also hearing similar feelings of grief from friends. I researched Grief Counseling programs extensively but was having trouble finding a good fit to help me during this time and in addition, the training needed which would allow me to help clients through their grief. I finally found the Grief Recovery Institute website and was immediately drawn to the positive testimonials and evidence based research findings. This led me to going through the foundational training to become a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. Upon completion of the course, I felt a shift in my emotions and my communications around grief. I feel fortunate to have found the Grief Recovery Method and am thankful that I have the knowledge and resources to teach this method to others, which will help them walk forward in their lives without the profound pain that loss can create.
