Erica Baun

Hello! My name is Erica Baun, and I live in Boardman, Ohio, with my husband, Curtis, and our sweet old beagle, Jaylah. Although I grew up in Western Pennsylvania, after spending over 20 years in the Mahoning Valley, this is truly “home.” I have always had a passion for helping people, spending most of my life as a Secretary/Administrative Assistant. After struggling through some difficult losses, I began to feel a calling to grief support. In 2014, I decided to go back to school, and in 2016, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling for Christian Ministry. After earning my degree, I became a Program Facilitator in a prison, and it was here that I learned about the many different facets of grief (loss of relationships, loss of financial stability, loss of freedom, and so much more). That’s when I decided that I needed to find a way to address all these different areas of loss, and that’s how I found the Grief Recovery Method. Since that time, I started a non-profit (For Every Season Ministries, Inc.), seized the opportunity to become a certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist, and became a Professional Christian Life Coach. I am passionate about helping heal broken hearts in the Mahoning Valley, so I offer The Grief Recovery Method, as well as GRM for Pet Loss and the GRM Alumni program! I offer all of these programs both in-person and online. I also offer Helping Children with Loss, but at this time, it is only available in-person.
