My Experience
Having the topic of unresolved grief come up in other circles, I explored it more only to find the Grief Recovery Method and discovered people close by able to work one on one. After reaching out I found Jen available and we decided to work together. I am so glad and relieved that I chose her. She is genuinely warm, open and caring and "well fitted" to do this work. She is excellent. I simply trusted her and the process, being open to explore just to see if I had some unresolved grief issues, and we found a few gems. Together. Never alone. We took them out, cleaned them off, polished them up, then gave them away. Painfully and freeing. It was hard work, a heart wrenching, love processed, life affirming effort and like some unrealized weight lifting off my inner core experience. I ended up feeling exhausted yet deeply satisfied and relieved.

My Experience
When I began this program I was lost and frozen in the loss of my Husband. While it will be a work in progress as time goes on, I am now able to feel like I have the skills to navigate this path. I don’t feel so afraid of the future now. I know I will OK.

My Experience
I came to this work after the unexpected death of my Mom. My facilitator was kind and welcoming. I was able to view and work through my understanding of grief. The program was engaging and thoughtful. I was able to do homework assignments over the course of a few hours a week without being cumbersome on time. I learned valuable tools and will continue to work on my grief and understandings. I have already shared this book and facilitator information with a peer that lost a child. Thank you

My Experience
This program, and the facilitator, helped me move through feelings that I had been blocking for years. I went into this to move forward from the death of my mother, thinking that it was simply a matter of pushing things aside to "do the duties" that had been given to me upon her death, and quickly realized that so many moments throughout my life had kept me from being able to complete the loss regardless of those duties. Not only was I able to move through and complete my feelings/emotions in regards to my mom's death, but the losses I experienced throughout her life as well. I was even able to complete an additional loss through this process (one that I thought I was past). It helped me see the good and the bad in each relationship and opened me up to expressing my emotions to those still in my life today.
