Joaquina (Jo) Cosby-Golberg

On December 30, 2013 at 5pm my husband of 16 years stood in front of the 5 o'clock train and killed himself. He left behind two beautiful children and myself. This was beyond tragic. In an instance our lives flipped upside down and began shaking violently. I never thought we would find happiness again. I'm happy to report that I was wrong.  It was in my healing journey that I found Grief Recovery Method. Through this program I not only found further healing but I found ways to help my children as well. This is what I was most grateful for. As adults, we can find many modes of healing, but it becomes considerably more difficult to understand or to know what to do for our children. GRM provided direction for this in a beautiful way. Because of the methods found here, I was able to understand and help my son through his own pain and his own thoughts of suicide. Therefore, this program works and is invaluable. I work one on one or with groups either from my home in Simi Valley, CA or from the comfort of your own home via Zoom or just over the phone.  I graduated with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University a Grief Recovery Method specialist, and am pursuing a master degree in Psychology/Nueroscience. I am also certified in other areas of healing as well.
