Hi - I'm Labrina Solomon. I live in Macon, Georgia, but I am originally from Gray, Ga. In 2009, I lost my 5 year old son Joshua to a brain tumor, called DIPG. My husband and I started a nonprofit in his memory to raise awareness and research funding for pediatric brain tumors. I had heard about the Grief Recovery Method years ago and I wanted to do the certification and training to help heal myself and to help others. I have a son that was born a month to the date that Joshua passed, and I knew having a young child and a nonprofit organization that I would not have the time to devote to being a Grief Recovery Specialist. My son is now 14 years old and I no longer work full time so I have more time to devote to my family, nonprofit and now the Grief Recovery Method. I offer in person one on one grief support and group grief support. I look forward to working with you and sharing the wonderful program that helped me to complete my healing.
