About Sandi

My name is Sandi, I’ve been in the sales/training and marketing industry for many years. I'm currently based in San Diego, CA. with Lexi, my rescue dog, who doesn't like to leave my side! Never having had pets growing up, my family and I adopted a rescue dog after we experienced 9/11 while living in NYC. This changed my life. After other personal and professional losses, I decided to make a change to something that I am truly passionate about. Through my own personal experiences, I realized you don’t have to feel alone. Loss is emotional and not logical. I feel that I have a great deal of compassion and understanding through my own personal relationships and that I am able to help guide and support others to truly learn how to work through loss and move forward in a better direction. I truly believe in giving my clients the tools to help transform loss to a better state of mind. Loss is from the heart and not the head. I specialize in pet loss with this evidence based program, the grief recovery method.

My Experience

What I found particularly helpful in the program was the way the info was rolled out, week after, week, chapter after chapter and frequently reinforced throughout the program. For me the most ah ha moment came when I had to do the loss graph followed up by the relationship graph. The loss graph allowed me to methodically review my life in a way I had never done before, and probably would never have, if not for the program. It had many surprises, things I have not thought about in decades, which helped me so much by providing a historical overview of what seemed unrelated events. At first I thought I would have difficulty finding above the line items in the relationship graph, but the loss graph helped me to realize there was good among the bad. I am happy I did the process, but it was not an easy journey. Worthwhile, but not easy and only valuable if you really do the hard work and spend serious time on your homework, which I did.
