My name is Noriko Whitfield, and I am a Certified Grief Recovery Method® Specialist serving individuals and groups in Encinitas and the greater North County San Diego area, as well as clients online. My journey to the Grief Recovery Method® was deeply personal. After experiencing multiple significant losses, including sudden death, complicated grief, and major life transitions, I realized that simply staying strong was not the same as healing. Although I was functioning outwardly, unresolved grief continued to affect my emotional well being. Finding the Grief Recovery Method® changed my life. For the first time, I was given a clear and action based process to address grief in a safe and structured way. Through this work, I experienced relief, clarity, and a deeper connection to myself. GRM gave me practical tools to complete unfinished emotional pain and move forward with greater peace. I now offer Grief Recovery Method® programs to my community, including one on one programs, small group programs. I work with grief related to death, divorce, relationship loss, life transitions, and other forms of loss. I am a Certified Grief Recovery Method® Specialist and follow the Grief Recovery Institute’s evidence based model and ethical standards.
