Embarking on this deeply personal journey has been life-altering for me. My heart for this work comes from walking through the suffocating silence that follows deep loss. In 2016, my son Evan died, and just three months later, my dad died as well. I was shattered. The world felt unbearably empty, and I carried a loneliness so heavy it was hard to breathe. In that darkness, I made a vow: no one should have to navigate grief alone. I wanted to be a safe place for those carrying the ache of death, absence, and change—to sit with them in the pain, to honor the life and love they’ve lost, and to remind them they are seen. Grief touches all of us, though the loss looks different for each person. You may be mourning the death of someone you love deeply, the end of a relationship, the loss of a beloved pet, or a home or life you once knew. Whatever your loss, your pain matters. You matter. I see you. I hear you. And I will hold space for your story without judgment. I hope that, whether you reach out online or in person, you will know you are not alone.
