My Experience

After losing my career and grieving the death of a dear friend and colleague, I found myself searching for healing. That search led me to the Grief Recovery Method certification program—a decision that transformed my understanding of grief and my ability to help others navigate loss. In just four days, our exceptional instructor Jocelyn guided our team of complete beginners to become certified Grief Recovery Method Specialists. Her expertise made complex concepts accessible, and the clarity of the training materials was outstanding—every element purposefully designed to ensure we could confidently apply these life-changing methods. The program gave me the tools to turn my own experience with loss into a source of strength and service for others. I'm now equipped to help people recover from grief in all its forms—death, divorce, job loss, and the countless other losses we face. This certification has given me more than credentials—it's given me purpose. I'm grateful to the Grief Recovery Institute for creating such a comprehensive program that prepares specialists to make a real difference during people's most difficult moments.
