About Victor

Four decades of professional spiritual care experience including bereavement services. Currently working with hospice patients. Living in California but soon moving to Northern Michigan (West Branch). I find the empowering approach of GRM extremely helpful and very much needed in our times. Recently a client, who has faced much loss in her life, had some real breakthroughs during the classes. This is immensely rewarding. I look forward to offering classes in the northern Michigan region as well as eventually helping clients online. I've been a pastor in 5 different states, married as a teenager (19) and am still passionately in love with my wife of 45 years. Our three adult children make us proud in their various pursuits. I love sailing, motorcycle riding and quiet solitude in the forest.

My Experience

Going through the Grief Recovery process was a first for me. I’ve had a LOT of loss in my life and thought I was handling it well or as well as can be expected. But the Grief Recovery Method showed me how I’ve been conditioned to handle loss and that there was still a lot of pain in my heart for things I did do and things I didn’t do with my relationships. I only finished the course yesterday so I’m still processing it all but I feel there has definitely been a turning point in the relationship that I worked on. I already have a few other losses that I’d like to work on and my instructor has made himself available to be my confidential partner in the future if needed.
