Dr. Rachael D. Nolan
Dr. Nolan is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. She also serves as an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and business owner of Sages of Grief, LLC. As an advocate for death, dying, end of life, and the unique needs of persons impacted by significant loss, Dr. Nolan continues to maintain various volunteer and professional roles that specifically address quality of life improvement. Dr. Nolan’s research specializes in understanding the unique social determinants of well-being experienced by underserved and medically disadvantaged communities, older adults, LGBTQ* folk, and the differently-abled.
This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
