Hello everyone, welcome back to the Feel Free again podcast. I'm your host Cole James and I am very excited with our guest today. And in full disclosure, I think this is the first guest we have on that has not actually been through the grief recovery method, but we're going to change that shortly. You know, Sandy and I have plans for him to go through this method, but he reached out to us and and is just an incredible guy.

I'm going about to share with you his bio, but he identified the connection between what we do at the grief recovery Institute and the incredible work that he is doing, which we will shortly get into. So I just wanted to touch touch on that because it is a first for us. And so I'm excited to introduce Sandy Wheeler. Sandy is a former Vietnam veteran.

He is a former CPA with peak Marwick. He is founder and chief marketing officer of both Lex and founder and CFO, CMO of Orange, too, can. He is married to his fantastic wife of 53 years is a father to five children and Papa to 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is an avid outdoorsman, dedicated Christian and loves the USA.

Sandy, thank you so much for being here today, sir. Thank you for having me. This is truly a pleasure as I explain to you, Cole, when we're having lunch. This was just a fluke God deal.

I just happened to stumble on you guys. And mainly I think it was surrounding your dad and how he had started this and of course being a Vietnam guy who went through PTSD. I waited until I was 72 to make sure I was ready to handle the task. But I went through that part and I was developing this app to help and make sure that there would not be another military person who would die where their family would not be able to record their message, their voice and have that for generations.

That's how this thing kind of came about and the whole aspect of realizing the amount of grief we go through in PTSD is part of that process, right? Which I have gotten way more educated with you guys, both in reading your book and just the liberty of which you guys have shared your conversation with me has meant just noodles of blessings to me. That's the word I think. It helped me come with clarity and understand even better how to create our app to help people create video messages that preserve their face, it preserves their voice, it preserves their message and their love and their comfort for generations.
