I learned that my grief is the cause of my new memory problems. I now view grief in a whole new light.

It showed me how to look inside myself and unlock my feelings vice keeping them inside under the mask. I have seen lots of deaths during my military career, but my son/s death brought back many memories from some of the worst events I witness.

I am not sure why, but I had difficulty with the relationship graph. Which in turn affected homework going forward. I completed all homework, but felt others where more specific than I was.

I decided to do this program because I thought I was grieving a loss that was recent to me that was really affecting me with much sadness and depression. I wanted to heal myself of these feelings that I couldn't take controlling me anymore. While doing the program, l actually learned that I was actually grieving a loss from many years ago that was still affecting me and I had no idea that was even happening to me. I am so glad that I learned tools from this program that helped me realize what was really going on. Thank you for teaching me right from wrong when it comes to grief!

I am 67 years old. My parents disowned me at 33 years old when my mother tried to ruin my life. I found out she was lying and she turned on me. All through the years I thought I was depressed and full of anxiety.Always blaming myself. After I began losing friends and relatives to death it became a health problem. I saw the grief support in the church bulletin. My life has been fairly happy and now I am seeing things about the loss of my parents in a totally different light. Thank you

At this time I really don't know how I am feeling, I think I need some time to take it all in and think about my feelings.. I also lost my husband, 5 1/2 months before my son passed away. I feel I need to read the book again and work on the grief recovery for my husband

I already knew quite a bit of the material, so as much as I'd like to give you an outstanding rate, some of it was boring. The homework assignments were so thought provoking that they took hours to complete. I had never contemplated the full effect that some of the incidents in my subject's relationship profile had in shaping my world view. I thought I had forgiven that person for all the harm she caused me, but once I wrote down the things I was sorry for (which were not all trivial), I knew that I still had many more things for which I needed to forgive her. When I wrote the significant statements and then read them aloud, I finally got to tell that person what I thought of her actions and words. The whole process was very freeing. I intend to go back and complete the steps to say goodbye to three other people with whom I have incomplete relationships. Thank you
