I was born and raised in Southern Alberta living most of my life in Lethbridge. I joined Martin Brothers Funeral Home in 2013 after retiring from nursing. Having worked at the funeral home, I was very much aware of the Grief Recovery Program that has been offered at Martin Brothers since 2009 and encouraged others to participate in this program. In 2022, an inaugural online program was started by a funeral service colleague, Brian Magee. I took that program having had several losses in my family such as parents and four siblings.
