A Note From The Presenter:

Our 6-meeting Grief Recovery Method Support Groups For Pet Loss are designed to help you address all of those emotional feelings that are unique to your individual loss and grief. A Grief Recovery Method Specialist who has used the exact same tools to deal with loss in his or her own life leads each group. Our program will take you through a number of steps to help you fully discover and address those things that you wish might have been different, better, or more in your relationship with your beloved pet. It is this “unfinished business” that often gets in the way of enjoying fond memories. Doing this work will allow the griever the chance to say “good bye” to their relationship with this special pet, thereby making it comfortable to build a relationship with a new pet, if they choose to do so!

Do you still miss a pet that died one, five or over ten years ago? You ae not alone. Pet loss and pet bereavement are very real.

The Pet Loss Grief Group is a step-by-step process, an “action program” for unlocking and respecting the emotional experience of our grief, both the immediate or presenting grief issues and those that may have been holding us captive for years.
When our beloved pets die, we are not prepared to handle, manage, or recover from the emotional impact, which result from these changes and losses.

Students will learn:
1.To explore “old, ineffective tools and myths” we’ve been using to manage our pet grief.
2.To learn proper emotional tools to achieve recovery from our unresolved pet grief.
3. To discover and complete any undelivered emotional communication to our love beloved pets and animals.

My life changed forever when my identical twin sister died at age 24 from an inoperable brain tumor. Her death in the hospital shattered me. I was angry at God and couldn’t bear to be near hospitals—they represented loss and finality. To cope, I stayed busy, pouring myself into work. I became a real estate agent, then a broker, and by 30, I had opened my own real estate office. Outwardly, I was thriving. Inwardly, I had unfinished grief.

Eventually, I knew I had to face my sorrow and my broken relationship with the Divine. I found a new spiritual home where I felt safe enough to wrestle with my pain. In time, a quiet calling began to stir—a sense that I was meant...
