Throughout my life, I've walked a path defined by loss, and it's this journey that has shaped me into a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. From a young age, I shouldered the consequences of other people's choices, consequences that would echo through the years. I often felt I was never good enough, and as a result, I learned to lock away my emotions, believing it was the only way to keep myself safe.

As I embarked on the adventure of raising my own children, a persistent feeling of something missing haunted me. Then, thirteen years into my marriage, the world I thought I knew crumbled. It was a harsh awakening. My body was reeling from the trauma, and I sought solace in counseling, support groups, and the wisdom of countless books and TED talks. The more I learned, the more I yearned to extend my help to others. That's when I became a Trauma Recovery Coach, guiding countless individuals and families towards hope and healing.

But my journey didn't stop there. One fateful day, I stumbled upon The Grief Recovery Method, initially uncertain but soon realizing it held the key to healing, not just for me but for everyone I encountered. Life threw another challenge my way when my oldest son was in Kabul, Afghanistan, during the evacuation of August 2021. He lost friends and comrades on August 21, 2021, and the pain rippled through our entire family. It was then that I recognized a larger issue—our nation's struggle to support those grappling with the weight of loss.

I'm not just a grief specialist; I'm also a mother, deeply connected to the military community. The journey of a military family is never easy, and I'm honored to work with military moms who, like me, navigate this challenging path.

Beyond my professional journey, I find solace in a quaint Alaskan village, where I embrace the outdoors and cherish every moment with my children. My essence is one of caring, support, and love, and my mission is simple: to help as many people as I can find joy in their lives once again.
