Hi, my name is Karen Ostrowski. I grew up in NYC and I have lived in several states on both coasts; but my home has been in Kernersville, NC for the past 30 years. I am a retired teacher and I served for 21 years in the Marine Corps. After finishing my careers in education and the military, I attended seminary and was ordained as an Interfaith Minister. I am also a trained and certified End of Life Doula, a certified Advanced Directive Specialist, and a certified Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist

Currently, all of my services offered are in person in North Carolina - Winston Salem, Kernersville, Greensboro, and surrounding areas. I also offer my services on Zoom. Among my various services, I offer Grief Recovery on an individual basis or in a small groups.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
