Finding a Way Through Loss
When I began specializing in trauma therapy, I quickly noticed something: nearly every story of trauma also carried threads of grief and loss. Over time, I saw how people—no matter how strong or resilient—could become “stuck” in the pain of what they had endured. It wasn’t just about the traumatic event itself, but also about the losses it left behind.
That’s what led me to the Grief Recovery Method and an understand how often we experience loss and how often we stay "incomplete" in that loss. The GRM approach offers more than just comfort—it provides a clear, compassionate roadmap for moving forward. Whether your loss is connected to trauma or one of the 40+ other ways we experience grief and loss, GRM helps you understand your emotions and guides you toward a completion in your healing process.
I’ve been working in behavioral health since 2009—as a youth mentor, case manager, wraparound specialist, and now as a counselor. Alongside my training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Grief Recovery Method has become one of the most meaningful tools in my practice.
I work and provide services and treatment in Rexburg, ID and am licensed for counseling in Idaho and Utah. I offer one-on-one grief counseling and an 8-week Grief and Loss Group. My goal is to walk with you through the hard places and help you find hope, healing, and the freedom to live more fully and complete after loss.
