Toni Brabec is an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, a Certified Birth and Bereavement Doula and Co-Founder of Our Little Sparrows-Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support. Toni lost her first born daughter, Olivia Hope, shortly after birth at 33 weeks to a life-limiting diagnosis during pregnancy called Renal Agenesis, which is the the absence of kidneys. Exactly a year later, she lost her mother to a heart attack followed by the loss of two subsequent pregnancies to early miscarriage. In the midst of her pain and loss, she gave birth to her son, James, who is now 4 years old. Though raising her son is a wonderful joy and gift, she felt the challenges of raising a living son through the pre-existing lense of child loss, and the loss of her expectation of what her family should be like. Through the pain and grief, Toni and her husband, Geoff, discovered Grief Recovery Method and both have become certified specialists. They wanted to help others experiencing loss find hope and sense of purpose and completion through acknowledging their grief and proper action tools.
Toni's passion is to serve the broken-hearted and be a heart with ears. Toni serves the Greater Sacrament, CA. as well as Online 1-on-1 Grief Support.
I didn't realize that I had so many unresolved issues with my Mother until after she passed. A friend gave me a copy of The Grief Recovery Method. I tried to do it on my own but only got as far as the Loss Graph. That's when I found a Therapist who used the Grief Recovery Method. From the very beginning I began to feel lighter; a tightly wound spring inside me started to unwind. I hadn't realized how my grief had diminished my capacity for joy. This program gave me tools, guidance and support to recover. My perspective has changed and I look forward to completing other relationships using this method. I am very glad I did this and would recommend the Grief Recovery Method to all who have suffered a loss of any kind.1-on-1 SupportParticipant in Roseville, Califormia10/23/2019
I know myself and realize that I probably wouldn’t have done the work without a class to provide that accountability. Had already read the book on my own. We just finished a week ago, so I think I will need more time to evaluate how the program has worked for me.Support GroupsParticipant in Rocklin, ca04/04/2019
