I am the mother of four babies. Three in heaven and one here on earth. After the loss of our first born, Olivia Hope, in 2013 followed by two subsequent miscarriages, my husband and I were set on a path to help others in their grief as well. We were introduced to the Grief Recovery Method and we both decided to become certified specialists. I was certified in early 2018. I offer in the Greater Sacramento Area:
-Grief Support Group
-Grief Support 1 on 1
-Helping Children with Loss
-Pet Loss Support Group
We live in Roseville, CA. with our three year old son, James, and our pets, Maesy (yorkie), Zoey (cat) and Houdini (turtle).
I didn't realize that I had so many unresolved issues with my Mother until after she passed. A friend gave me a copy of The Grief Recovery Method. I tried to do it on my own but only got as far as the Loss Graph. That's when I found a Therapist who used the Grief Recovery Method. From the very beginning I began to feel lighter; a tightly wound spring inside me started to unwind. I hadn't realized how my grief had diminished my capacity for joy. This program gave me tools, guidance and support to recover. My perspective has changed and I look forward to completing other relationships using this method. I am very glad I did this and would recommend the Grief Recovery Method to all who have suffered a loss of any kind.1-on-1 SupportParticipant in Roseville, Califormia10/23/2019
I know myself and realize that I probably wouldn’t have done the work without a class to provide that accountability. Had already read the book on my own. We just finished a week ago, so I think I will need more time to evaluate how the program has worked for me.Support GroupsParticipant in Rocklin, ca04/04/2019
